Day 1 (face to face)

The first day of the "CHEC Emerging Technologies to improve Teaching and Learning in HE" is here!

And what a packed programme...

After a round of introduction, JP Bosman and Sonja Strydom From Stellenbosch started with an ice breaker exercise called "ParticiPlan", which went straight to the core of this course: "How can Emerging Technologies be used to enhance teaching and learning?"

    Today has been an excellent example of how teaching & learning with technology can be enacted. The sessions have been an excellent fusion of activity, example, theory, discussion and reflection.

    I love the embedded Slideshare presentations. It encourages reading them because access is so easy.

      Glad you liked it. Makes sense - especially if you want students to get a quick overview of the contents of a presentation before they "download" it.

    I learnt about the different aspects of designing a course using technology. I really appreciate those design steps as it gives me tool to think teaching and learning strategies and integrating technologies
